Elise Roth
Elise Roth is an American vocalist living in London who specialises in music from the 20s, 30s, and 40s, and delights in showcasing lesser known repertoire as authentically as possible. “Born in New York City, raised in London, and educated at Boston University and at the New England Conservatory as an operatic soprano, transatlantic sensation Elise Roth has been known to dazzle audiences on both sides of the Atlantic with her musicality, wit, and style.
Since 2014, Elise has been a professional working musician. She has gigged all across New England and Great Britain, and also in New York, Los Angeles, Japan, Italy, and Berlin.
After many years of dividing her time between the US and the UK, Elise relocated permanently to London in early 2020, and now she regularly delights crowds at London nightspots like Nightjar, Evans & Peel, Crazy Coqs, The Ned, Jamboree, and The Candlelight Club.
And if Elise’s voice sounds familiar but you haven’t (yet) seen her perform, it might be because she also works as an audiobook narrator! She’s recorded a number of books for several different publishers since 2020, and there are always more on the way. Find her on Audible to hear some of her work.”
