We want to keep the follow/lead ratio fairly even, so there might be a waiting list for some roles in some levels until more of the other role registers.
Owners of the Full Festival Pass register their presence at first arrival at the informationdesk. Your name and payment will be checked. After validation you will receive a bracelet with a design matching your track. Please wear this bracelet during the festival because it is your entry pass for workshops and parties.
An Informationdesk will present at the entrance of parties and workshops.
Both partners have to sign up seperately and both have to fill in the name of the partner in the signup form. Only when both partners have registered they can be taken from the waitinglist for further processing.
Yes, but you will be placed on a waitinglist. As soon their is a ticket available with a matching role/level both will be taken from the waitinglist for further processing.
No. Last year all available party tickets where sold out at the online sale. We expect that it will happen this year too (fingers crossed).
No, but you can try to sell your ticket to someone else. Keep in mind that that person has to participate with the same role and level you signed up for. Also you have to notify the organization per email and provide the name of your replacement. By doing so we can update our administration and perform a positive check at the informationdesk.
The Lindy What!? team promotes solidarity between dancers. A solidarity fund is created based on donations. The funds collected will be used for the sole purpose of providing discounts to dancers who cannot afford to participate in the event. To apply for a discount, please email us.
If you want to donate to this solidarity fund, please email us for a “how to” instruction.
We try to minimize financial payments at the desk. Most transactions will be done beforehand (tickets by bank transfer) and checked at the desk. Payments at the desk will be done by means of a QR code facilitating payment by phone. For safety reasons we avoid cash payments.
Although you could expect cash payment to be possible everywhere this is not the case. It has become common practice to do daily financial transactions with a bank/credit card or phone instead of cash money. As it happens in some places you can not even pay with cash. Small shops and unattended pay terminals often only accept payment by cards or phone for safety concerns. So please come prepared and bring a bank card.
Horeca at the festival expect payment by cards or phone.
We know that dancing makes you thirsty. It is therefore allowed to take a sip of water from your own bottle in the bag/luggage area of the party venues. However, large bottles of water are not allowed in any of the party venues at/around the dance floors. If large water bottles are placed in the dance hall, the staff of the venues may remove them, for you to pick them up at the bar later.
Of course there is a bar where you can buy a drink, so there are plenty of ways to replenish your thirst.
Chalk for shoes is not allowed in any of the venues. We will get a fine if the floor gets covered in chalk; so if we see anyone using chalk under their shoes, we will come and talk to you, and ask you to remove this from your shoes or use different shoes. We will deal with the situation accordingly and may have to note down your name in case we get a fine from the venue.
Please clean your shoes before dancing to prevent dirt and debris from spreading, to protect the floor surface and keep it hygienic.
Don’t use chalk on your shoes or throw sand on the floor.
No, there are no lockers present and the garderobe is not guarded.
There is an option to pre-order a lunch via your registration form. At the Boog (in the canteen) we will organize a take-out at lunch time. The price per lunch will be 12 euro.
